Ms. Robinson shares responsibility for all the activities of the firm. Prior to joining RVM in 2004, Ms. Robinson was an Account Vice-President and an Investment Management Consultant, for almost a decade with PaineWebber--which was acquired by UBS Financial Services. Prior to UBS, Ms. Robinson held retail and corporate positions with H.E. Butt Grocery Company. She also served as a Financial Analyst for both Bankers Trust Company and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Ms. Robinson holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and Retirement Management Advisor (RMA®) designations and is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute. She holds an MBA from the Option II Executive MBA Program and a BA from the Plan II Honors Program both from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Robinson currently serves on the Advisory Council of the University of Texas College of Liberal Arts, is a member of the Battle of Flowers Association and the Laurel Heights Garden Club.
Mr. Robinson shares responsibility for all the activities of the firm, leading security analysis, portfolio management, information technology systems, and compliance. Mr. Robinson has over 30 years of experience in portfolio management and is the founding principal of Robinson Value Management. As a vice president and portfolio manager for NationsBank, Mr. Robinson managed over $200 million in individual client assets. He also served on a small team (with John and Chris Leavy) managing over $750 million in institutional assets at Leavy Investment Management, Inc. in the early 1990's. His prior experiences include venture capital, traditional bank lending, as well as trading futures and options on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and as a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA). Mr. Robinson instructed portfolio theory and computer applications in finance at the University of Texas at San Antonio's Graduate School of Business. A CFA Charterholder, he is a member of the CFA Institute and a past president of the San Antonio Society of Financial Analysts. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a BA in Economics from Davidson College. Mr. Robinson is active in the community, serving as an elder at First Presbyterian Church, and as a member of the Order of the Alamo and the Merry Knights of King William.
