Accounting & Administrative Associate
Robinson Value Management is searching for a detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative Associate.
The selected candidate will be required to have strong skills in accounting and bookkeeping, be able to apply critical thinking, to interpret and apply policies, procedures and regulations, to manage and execute tasks, set priorities and adapt to changing priorities. In addition, the candidate will need to exercise good judgment and maintain confidential information.
She/he will assist with a broad array of duties in a fast-paced environment.
Job functions include, but are not limited to:
- bookkeeping and managerial accounting,
- client fund disbursements,
- report creation and distribution,
- design and maintenance of printed, web-based and social media
- planning/scheduling of events, meetings, and travel.
Robinson Value Management is a small firm, so candidate must be willing to take on a wide variety of tasks beyond those listed. There will be many learning opportunities and many ways to contribute. Compensation includes salary, bonuses, and medical insurance.
Robinson Value Management, Ltd. is an investment advisory firm registered with the Securities Exchange Commission that manages equity, fixed income, and balanced portfolios for individuals and institutions. Founded in 1997, we are located near The Quarry in San Antonio, Texas.
Qualifications: Candidates must have familiarity with QuickBooks, have a passion for numbers, operations, and business administration. They must be eager to make an impact. They must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. In addition, the candidate needs to be one who will ask questions when uncertain and perform well in a small, but mutually accountable team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel is important but can be learned on the job. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US for any employer, ready to interview immediately, and ready to begin work soon.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation includes bonus and benefits
Starting Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
On site team environment, hybrid capable with tenure at the firm.
Required education: Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
